Sudhagad is a hill fort situated in Maharashtra. The summit is 620 metres (2,030 ft) above sea level. The entire area around the fort is declared a Sudhagad wildlife sanctuary. The first fort has several ruins of two temples dedicated to Lord Shiva. However, the temple of Bhoraidevi (its patron goddess) is well maintained temple. On the large plateau at the summit, there are two lakes, a house, a big granary, some tombs, a shrine (Vrindavan) and numerous other ruins, scattered around the fort area. There are three main gates the largest of which is called the Maha Darwaja. From the top, other forts like Sarasgad, Korigad, Ghangad, Taila-Baila are clearly visible.

Historical Significance: Sudhagad Fort was built in the 2nd century BC and has played an important role in the history of Maharashtra. It was used as a military fort by the Maratha Empire and the British, and was a crucial stronghold during the 17th century.

Trekking: The fort is a popular destination for trekkers and hikers. The trek to the fort is relatively easy and it takes approximately two hours to reach to the top.

Day 1 -
- Reporting at 05:20 am at Balshikshan Mandir, Mayur Colony, Kothrud, Pune.
- Leave for Sudhagad at 05.45 am. (3 hours drive)
- Have breakfast during the bus journey.
- Reach base village by 9.30 am. Short introduction and briefing by the trek leader.
- Start the trek towards Sudhagad at 9:45 am.
- Reach at the top by 12:00 pm
- Explore the fort and have lunch.
- Post lunch, we start the descend towards base village.
- Reach base village at 4.00 pm.
- Start return journey and reach Pune by 8.30 pm.
- Trek ends.
