Laka Glacier is located in Kangra valley. It is a popular trek because of its short duration and beginner-friendly trek. Laka Glacier trek will give you an adventurous experience. As you arrive at the very best, the scenic views of snow-covered mountain ranges are described as glorifying scenery to watch.
- Mixed forest of oak, rhododendron and deodar trees.

- Walk on the glacier that comes from Inderhara Pass and Moonpeak.
Day 1 - Delhi to Dharamshala
- Report at New Delhi near Majnu Ka Tila by 5:00 pm and leave for Dharamshala via Volvo Bus.
- Overnight bus Journey.
Day 2 - Dharamshala
- Arrive Dharamshala/Mcleodganj bus station and transfer by small cars to Bhagsu Nag.
- Check in Hotel. Breakfast at Hotel on arrival.
- Later we take you for a short acclimatization walk.
- Afternoon free on your own.
Day 3 - Bhagsu Nag to Triund (2875m)
- Trek Distance - 9 kms, 5 hours walk
- Breakfast at Hotel. After breakfast you start walking from Bhagsu Nag.
- It is steep ascent through mixed forest of oak, rhododendron and deodar trees to Triund.
- Triund is an alpine meadow on top of a plateau with superb close view of the snow covered peaks of Dhauladhar on one side and Kangra valley on the other.
- Camp here for overnight stay.
Day 4 - Triund to Khabrotu to Kunal Pathari to Laka Glacier (3200m)
- Trek Distance - 6 kms, 4 hours walk
- After breakfast we start walking towards Laka Glacier.
- We traverse a small ridge along the glacial moraine to reach Khabrotu from where we have closer view of the peaks of Dhauladhar range.From Khabrotu we take you for a side walk to reach upto Kunal Pathari temple on top of a ridge from where you have wonderful view of the peaks of dhauladhar on one side and the valley on the other.
- Walk back to Khabrotu and continue walk down to Laka Glacier.
- You camp after crossing the glacier to the other side.
Day 5 - Laka Glacier to Triund
- After breakfast walk on the glacier that comes from Inderhara Pass and Moonpeak.
- Spend sometime walking on glacier and then walk down to Triund.
- Night stay in tents.
Day 6 - Triund to Bhagsu Nag
- After breakfast at Triund walk down to Bhagsu Nag.
- Check in Hotel.
- Later free time to explore Mcleod Ganj on your own.
- Overnight in Hotel.
Day 7 - Dharamshala to Delhi
- After breakfast check out from the hotel.
- Keep your luggage in the hotel lobby and go for local visits on your own cost.
- Afternoon transfer to Mcleod Ganj bus station to board Volvo Bus to Delhi.
- Overnight Bus journey
Day 8 - Delhi
- Reach Delhi by 8:00 am and proceed for your journey back home.

- Transportation from Delhi to Delhi.
- 02 Nights of Hotel accommodation at Bhagsu Nag on Triple/Quad Sharing using Hotel Ashoka International or similar.
- All trekking arrangements including accommodation in trekking style tents on triple sharing.

- Any kind of shopping, mineral water, optional sight-seeing, and any other expenses of personal nature.
- Any expenses arising out of unforeseen circumstances like flight delay / cancellation / hike in fare, strike or any other natural calamities or any emergency evacuation expenses.

Few Important Tips:
- Dress in layers: Carry at least 3 layers at the trek. Weather is quite unpredictable so we need to keep ourselves warm. Keep it simple, but warm enough. Pack your backpack as per provided Trek essential list.
- Thermos Flask (1ltr) is very important on winter trek as water in normal bottle freezes due to severe temperature.
- Do not carry any precious items like jewellery at the trek. Mountainfit Team will not be responsible for loss of damage of such items.
- Carry extra plastic bags for wet clothes/garbage/etc. “DO NOT LITTER THE TRAIL, KEEP IT CLEAN”
- Drone and satellite phone is not allowed so please don’t bring any
